need some help picking out bedside tables..

leaning towards one or two even though three seems a little more legit

we're in

done.. sort of.

the actual moving in went great.. my brother and boyfriend got it all done by the time i returned the zipcar and rode the scooter back over.. i unpacked everything in the first two days (the rain helped).. we ordered some new furniture to arrive friday.. washer dryer should be installed today or tomorrow.. internet went in yesterday (can't get our airport to work so im sitting on the floor next to the modem as i type this)

one major party foul.. brodie collapsed on floor 3 of our 4 floor walk up.. turns out he is 'very very sick' (as the dr wrote in his report) at this point we're not totally sure what it is.. treating for a severe case of worms and hoping for improvements in the next two weeks or he'll have to be hospitalized (at which time this girl will be sitting down with the boyfriend to see just how far we take it.. i've always been of the mindset that i can buy a fancy new dog for 2k.. we're halfway there..)

today is day one of the move..

we load everything into a truck, sleep on an air mattress in our empty apartment tonight and move in tomorrow morning...

for sale

our listing is up.. we had our first open house on sunday and have another this weekend..

we move out next saturday (as you can tell by the picture, i succeeded in getting rid of pretty much everything, so moving will be a breeze!)

i went a little nuts and made open house cookies.. i justify it as necessary because then i can gauge how many people are coming through

no, you're right.. still totally overboard..

today boyfriend and i were pre-approved for a mortgage.. im feeling pretty mature right now

since deciding to sell our apartment bf and i have been considering what we're looking for and where.. we both agreed that our priority is space over place ... a year ago that was different.. i NEVER would've considered brooklyn.. now, well, we'll see...

im thinking this next place can stay white.. like really white.. i've never done the uber clean and simple thing but this is all pretty inspiring..

yesterday i was on a mission

i hung shelves, bought cleaning supplies for annabella (total chore, i don't wish mop shopping on anyone!), took my bag of change to coinstar and walked away with over $100, baked a pie (and ate it), bought a desk, built a desk and went to a birthday party in harlem...

i now have a little office set up.. i don't NEED an office but i WANT one.. granted im in a studio so by office i mean wall..

today i met someone who will change my life...

Annabella is my new (first!) cleaning lady... i am so FN excited

so what if i have a studio! don't judge me.. im a busy girl.. and turns out, an awful housewife!

now off to buy all of her fave cleaning supplies! im keeping this woman happy!

i have been cleaning the f out of our apartment! its been a wreck for a week but the sorting has come to an end and the pile for the goodwill has taken over what would be considered the foyer if this weren't a studio...

when i say nesting i really mean 'getting rid of all of boyfriends belongings i had no right to toss until my promotion'

im leaving in a few hours for seattle... we're having our 'party at papas' for all of the family that didn't make it out to NY for the wedding.. then over to eastern washington to spend a week on a lake water skiing, rocking 70 spf, and relaxing...
